With the church yard sale/ craft show coming up this weekend, things have been crazy lately.
I'm using this opportunity to downsize how many crafting things I have and I am even running "Clearance" on some of the earrings I had made in the past, just to get them gone!
I've also been crocheting like crazy, trying to build up a non-existent inventory in three weeks. I've managed some amigurumi (toys) and some dishcloths, but nothing like what I was hoping to have done! Luckily I still have a few days in which to try to finish up a large stuffed puppy and more dishcloths.
I am hoping the items sell! I've posted some pictures of the amigurumi items on facebook and the response has been good- I even have one or two folks looking to commission their own items, so that gives me hope.
Mostly, I just really enjoy the process of crafting, crocheting especially. I love to make things, but after a while, what do you do with all you've made? This way, I can cover my costs for materials and continue to do things I enjoy.

Free Target Giftcard
Shopkick is offering a free $2 Target Giftcard to new and old users alike! I've been using Shopkick for months and I love it. You earn points by opening the app as you walk in to certain stores (Target, Best Buy, Macys, etc). You do have to remember to do it close to the front doors, otherwise the app has trouble verifying you are actually in the store. Then, you earn more points (as many or as few as you like) by scanning items in the store or referring friends. I can't tell you how many giftcards I've redeemed from them, but they stay right on your phone and you just have them scanned at checkout. You can also use multiples per transaction. LOVE IT! :) It's really easy to earn your rewards and the sky is the limit. I have also found the app to be unobtrusive, so no worries it is going to bug you to death.
If you don't have Shopkick, go here to download it to your phone!
After you sign up, go here to get your FREE $2 Target giftcard next time you open the Shopkick App in Target.
Done! It's a free $2.00!

Guilty
I've been guilty of neglecting this blog lately. With having been sick, coupled with the various other hobbies I have, it's been pushed to the back burner.
I've been working a lot on working my Thirty One business lately. It's been paying dividends for sure. In addition to my paycheck in March (which was a HAPPY pay check!) I ended up winning two contests. One was from the lady directly in my "upline" (aka, the lady I signed up under) and I won a $65 purse! I also tied in her second contest for having someone sign up under me, though the prize went to the person I tied with- quite rightly, I thought.
The second prize I won was second place in the Director's contest- and I won a set of $35 cosmetic bags in my choice of color.
So, I ended up adding $100 in free products to my paycheck in the month of March! Woot woot :).
Add the extra money coming in from Thirty One to my couponing, rebates, surveys and the fact that we no longer have to make payments on my car and I am feeling pretty good right about now- knock on wood, of course. We all know life has a way of knocking you down a peg when you start to feel too good, but right now I plan on enjoying it!

Ibotta
There is an app out called Ibotta. It has been out for Apple products for a while, but has only recently become available for Android users as well.
You download the app to your phone and then have the opportunity to access money back offers- for instance, one of my offers is for a 12 pack of Coke Zero. You do little tasks to increase the monetary value, then scan the item and take a picture of your receipt when you buy it. Bam! I would get $0.75 back if I were to purchase the Coke Zero right now.
It's worth taking a look, it is an excellent way to save money and possibly even get the items for free if you pair a good sale with good coupons!

Unique Rewards
Unique Rewards is one of the sites I use to make extra money. Basically, you can do "click cash" which is clicking on a link every 30 seconds to take you to a page. You get paid 1 cent per click. Or, you can do their offers- some of which are free, some of which cost you money in the form of subscriptions- to earn rewards.
I mostly do the click cash. I run it in the background while I do other things. In fact, I'm doing the click cash now as I blog.
You won't get rich, but to date I have cashed out $100. You can take a check or paypal- I've used both and both work. Yes, you honestly get paid. They start you out with $5.00 when you do any activity (click cash doesn't count, but you can sign up for a stupid joke-a-day email then unsubscribe, earning you the $5.00).
I have posted a referral link in this post, if you feel like checking it out!
